The Where's Waldo? comic strip was a nationally syndicated Sunday paper comic strip based on the Where's Waldo? franchise. The strip was launched in March 1993, debuting in more than 100 Sunday newspapers across America. International distribution of the strip launched in August 1993. The strip ran for more than four years ending on October 25, 1998. The weekly Sunday comic was distributed by King Features Syndicate.
Although billed as "Where's Waldo? by Martin Handord," the strips were drawn by Stephan Martiniere.
Four activity books featuring collections of the Where's Waldo? comic strip, along with additional puzzles and other content, were released by Candlewick Press in 1995 and 1996. The books included The Completely Crazy Activity Book, The Really Remarkable Activity Book, The Simply Sensational Activity Book and The Wildly Wonderful Activity Book.
