Wenda is Waldo's current girlfriend. The character is the "one who takes the pictures" according to the intro of The Wonder Book, but she always loses her camera. Wenda was featured in the Where's Waldo? television series in the episode The Living Exhibits.
She first appeared in 1991 in The Magnificent Poster Book along with her twin sister, Wilma, who had previously appeared in 1990's The Ultimate Fun Book!. Wilma has not been seen since.
Wenda's wardrobes include a red and white striped shirt, blue skirt, red and white striped stockings, glasses, and red and white bobbled hat.
In the 2019 Where's Waldo? animated series, Wenda is portrayed by actress Haley Tju and has undergone a drastic redesign. Like Waldo, she has been reimagined as a preteen. However, Wenda has also undergone an apparent change in ethnicity, with darker brown or black hair and a darker complexion. Her hair is also longer, she no longer sports glasses or a hat matching Waldo's, and her skirt and striped tights have been replaced with black or dark blue pants with single stripes running down the sides. Her striped sweater is now a t-shirt, with with stripes appearing only on the sleeves and upper torso. As members of the Worldwide Wanders Society under Wizard Whitebeard, she and Waldo explore the world while contending with Odlulu.
